Greetings,

I am thinking of installing SD Plan onto my Netbook. I'm not even sure if it will handle it to be honest but it would be nice to access plans and some stuff when I'm not on my main studio PC.

I have done this with a couple of apps and find that using drop box is a great help, syncing folder that contain data etc.

So I was wondering if anyone could save me some time here and suggest if there would be a way to store all relevant data into a single dropbox folder?

I would use Live Sync or similar but my netbook is on XP still so DB really is my only option.

Anyhow, not a huge deal but thought some may also find this interesting.

Cheers,

I've just downloaded SyncToy, and set it to sync the SkyDemon directory into my DropBox folder (excluding charts and the like).

I've scheduled the Sync to run every hour or so during the day.

Should work Ok, but we'll see. Agree it'd be nice if the software just handled this itself. I've suggested in another thread storing routes and aircraft details in the cloud somewhere so they can be synced.

I use Sugarsync to synchronise any folder I like between computers and cloud. It works in the background without attention. It is better than dropbox as you can specify as many folder locations as you wish. Free version comes with 5gb cloud storage. It syncs my routes and other data very nicely.
